Pinzolo

Pinzolo

One of the most renowned and appreciated localities in Trentino Alto-Adige is undoubtedly Pinzolo, a town of just over 3000 inhabitants located in the province of Trento. Also chosen by the Inter football team for the pre-season retreat.

Pinzolo can be considered to all intents and purposes a small pearl within the Trentino landscape, thanks also to its strategic position that places it one step away from Madonna di Campiglio with which it is connected by the very recent and new plants.
Bordering the small but equally characteristic villages of Carisolo and Giustino, Pinzolo boasts a long history of culture and traditions.

The testimonies of the ancient foundation of the town come to us directly from the church of San Vigilio; although its current appearance dates back to the early 1500s, its true origins would be placed before the year 1000.
Pinzolo, in the high Val Rendena, occupies a prestigious position that allows numerous tourists to appreciate its beauties both in summer and in winter.
And we want to talk about its territory and what it is possible to find there in this short guide, to take you on an exciting journey to discover unique colors and flavors.
Let’s start with the accommodation facilities, which in Pinzolo are numerous and welcoming and satisfy every budget need: there is a wide choice of hotels and three or four-star hotels, small pensions, bed & breakfasts in cozy family-run houses. And also apartments to rent in the desired period or comfortable rooms in a farmhouse where contact with nature is the key element.
If you opt for hotels, in recent years there has been a real rush to modernize the existing structures, completing the higher category ones with integrated swimming pools and wellness centers, real spas where skiers can regenerate themselves returning from a day of intense sporting activity on the slopes.

The ski resorts are the flagship of the country, following the continuous renovations and the implementation of new ski lifts and artificial snow tools.

If, on the other hand, you want to visit Pinzolo and its territory in the hot season, you absolutely must not be afraid of getting bored: in addition to breathing fresh and healthy air, there are many activities that you can do when the ski season comes to an end.

Parks, golf, tennis and bowls courts, long walks in Val Rendena: this is just a small taste of what you can discover in the Pinzolo area and its surroundings.

In addition, in the summer, the Proloco organizes numerous cultural and gastronomic events with walks to the various mountain huts scattered throughout the valley to discover the beauties of nature and the still fresh and genuine flavors that reach us intact thanks to the skilful work of those who, even today, choose to lead a secluded life away from the chaos of big cities.

For lovers of quiet walks, there are many paths around Pinzolo and in the woods in the immediate vicinity that do not require particular efforts; on the contrary, the more experienced and tireless will be able to try their hand at real climbs along the Via delle Bocchette.
