A destination for both summer and winter tourism, Cavalese is immersed in the green of the surrounding woods and is ideal for spending a relaxing holiday.

In summer you can go there to cool off from the sultry temperatures as it is located exactly 1000 meters above sea level, while in the winter season you can take advantage of some of the most beautiful ski slopes in the Dolomites.
Cavalese, the capital of the Val di Fiemme, is the perfect destination for all those tourists who like to dedicate themselves to trekking, mountain biking and skiing in winter.

Cavalese is located in the Val di Fiemme, inside the Parco della Pieve where there are numerous hiking trails, which lead to unique panoramas, from where it is possible to see the Pale di San Martino.

IN WINTER
Cavalese is located 2 steps from the famous Marcialonga track, where cross-country ski enthusiasts can ski in a track of about 70 km. Or with an extra 20 minutes by car, it is possible to go up to the cross-country ski center of Lavazé where you can find over 40 km of always impeccable slopes.

The cable car that connects the town to theAlpe Cermis ski resort starts right from the center of Cavalese, where various slopes of all difficulties await alpine skiing enthusiasts. Or by going to the nearby center of Obereggen.
It is also possible going down to the center of Lago di Tesero to practice ice skating or to see the local hockey team, or to try ice climbing, also organized at night for the most passionate.

IN SUMMER
In summer there are many activities that are organized and in which it is possible to take part. For example, there are mountain bike rides to be carried out in the company of a guide, so as not to lose even a little of the scenic beauty of these mountains. Naturally, bicycles can be rented, also taking advantage of the package offers that include both the cost of the cable car ride and the bicycle rental.
For the lazy there is the possibility of using the numerous ski lifts that are located in the Valley and which are in operation even in summer.

As in any self-respecting mountain locality, also in Val di Fiemme there is certainly no shortage of streams on the banks of which you can lie down to sunbathe or simply have a picnic with friends.
