The magical lands of Val di Sole, the naturalistic pearl of Trentino, offer a completely unique solution to celebrate the advent of the beautiful Alpine mountain slopes.
Among the events organized, the one set up by the small town of Ossana stands out: the latter, in fact, will host the characteristic Christmas Market in the streets of its historic center, characterized by a long tradition in the construction of cribs.
In addition to the classic gastronomic and artisanal offers, in Ossana it will be possible to undertake the suggestive Path of the Nativity scenes, in which over one hundred works will be exhibited in the traditional “cort”; these are old barns or particular areas of the village duly set up as an art gallery.
The suggestive spectacle offered by the Ossana cribs will make your stay absolutely unforgettable.
The Ossana Christmas Market is smaller than the more famous ones such as Trento or Rovereto: it is in fact made up of only 8 wooden houses, where both gastronomic products and handicraft or agricultural items will be sold. However, the sale of typical products will be accompanied by many events and musical events, pony rides, Christmas choirs and attractions for the little ones such as the arrival of Santa Claus.
Not to be missed are, in particular, the events of the Nativity and Music initiative.
On the days of 3, 4, 6 and 7 December, Ossana will be filled with the typical Christmas atmosphere of the Val di Sole thanks to the magnificent mountain choirs of the ensemble “Sasso Rosso – Val di Sole” and the band “Nos Brass Quintet”. In the church of San Vigilio it will also be possible to attend an unmissable event: the “Organ of the Angels“.
