Ski and ski areas

Skiing is certainly the favorite winter activity in Trentino, whether it is alpine, or the classic downhill, cross-country skiing or mountaineering with seal skins under the ski to have the right grip even uphill.

Throughout Trentino, from north to south and from east to west, there are various districts that allow you to practice skiing. From the renowned slopes of the Val di Fassa or the Dolomites of Madonna di Campiglio, to the less known but equally interesting tracks of Mount Baldo or the Folgaria and Lavarone plateau. And if we talk about cross-country skiing, how can we not think of the snow-covered valley floor of the Fiemme and Fassa valleys where the Marcialonga takes place every year?

Skiing is definitely Trentino’s favorite winter activity, whether it is alpine, or the classic downhill, cross-country skiing or mountaineering with seal skins under the ski to have the right grip even uphill.
