The famous and naturalistically very rich Adamello-Brenta Natural Park is the setting for some of the most beautiful and interesting sporting activities in the whole of Trentino.
Located between the beautiful Brenta Dolomites and Adamello Presanella, the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole and Val Rendena offers the opportunity to ski along its 150 km of efficiently connected slopes with magnificent views as a backdrop.
Madonna di Campiglio, the heart of the ski area, is connected to the stations of Folgaria-Marilleva and Pinzolo through modern and avant-garde systems, among which the recently built Pinzolo-Campiglio Express cable car stands out, connected to the Doss del Sabion in just 20 minutes.
The ski area is a particularly popular place for snowboarders.
In Madonna di Campiglio there are dedicated areas such as the Ursus Snowpark on Grostè and the Mini Park for beginners in Pradalago, while in Pinzolo there is the Brenta Park; all the spaces listed are equipped with structures and jumps of different levels of difficulty and characteristics. To the aforementioned areas it is necessary to add the snowboard areas of Folgarida and Marilleva, which are also well equipped.
The Madonna di Campiglio area also offers a wide availability of competent staff dedicated to specialized teaching of downhill, snowboarding and cross-country skiing techniques. In Madonna di Campiglio alone there are 11 ski schools, while in Pinzolo there are 1.
The Skipass through which the entire area can be accessed is that of the entire Skiarea, while the local skipasses allow transit within individual areas.
Both in Madonna di Campiglio and in Pinzolo it is also possible to savor the beauty of the Trentino winter even without skis on, thanks to the numerous and well-maintained snowshoe trails that cross the entire territory.
You can also practice Nordic skiing in numerous centers, including: the Campo Carlo Magno cross-country center, equipped with tracks reserved for the school field and others for competition for a total of 22 km of tracks, and the Pinzolo-Carisolo cross-country ski center, with a ring of 5 km located in the suggestive Sarca valley floor, equipped with a programmed snow-making system and evening lighting.
Both structures offer rental service, waxing room, storage, changing rooms with showers, hot drinks dispenser, first aid and parking.
For skating lovers, it is possible to practice this sport both on the lake of Madonna di Campiglio and in the Ice Stadium of Pinzolo, a covered structure equipped with an Olympic rink.
