Skiing in Valsugana

Lots of snow and lots of fun are the essential ingredients for a unique winter stay in Valsugana.
The beautiful lands of the valley are an effective alternative to the often too crowded classic tourist destinations, while offering all the quality services that the latter are equipped with.

It will be possible to practice alpine skiing in 2 modern and well-equipped ski resorts:

1. Panarotta 2002
2. Funivie Lagorai

The first, located near the spas of Levico and Vetriolo, offers 18 km of slopes equipped with artificial snowmaking systems, as well as 4 ski lifts, a playground in the snow and an innovative treadmill for the school field.

The Funivie Lagorai, instead, are located at the Broncon-Marande Pass, above the Tesino basin, and boast 15 km of recently renovated tracks, 4 modern ski lifts, the snow park “playground Lagorai” as well as the playground Skilandia, equipped with treadmills that allow an easier ascent. 3 slopes are also equipped with lighting, in order to practice your favorite winter sport even in the tranquility of the night.

Both stations are also equipped with toboggan runs, sports equipment rental service, skibus and teachers authorized by the Italian Ski School.

Lovers of cross-country skiers can choose between the Sette Casare track, 7 km long and located at the Broncon Pass, theplateau of Vezzena, with two rings of 12 km in an exceptional naturalistic surrounding, and i 2 long connecting tracks with the Millegrobbe cross-country skiing center (12 km) and Campolongo (21 km). There are also 11 km of slopes in the Val di Sella, near Borgo Valsugana, and other slopes located on the Marcesina plateau.
All the aforementioned slopes are groomed for free technique and have both a parking area and an equipment rental service.

In Valsugana and Lagorai other winter activities are also practiced such as excursions with snowshoes and ski mountaineering. A suggestive and wild natural outline but at the same time safe and equipped with shelters and refreshment rooms for a truly exceptional stay.
