Where to ski in Val di Non

Val di Non is one of the most famous and appreciated areas of Trentino, both from a naturalistic point of view and for ski sports.
It is in fact possible to practice downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and ski-mountaineering, but also to make snowshoeing and enjoy pleasant rides on horse-drawn sleighs.

The Val di Non has 3 ski areas whose offer ranges from Nordic skiing to alpine skiing, as well as thrilling ski mountaineering and fun snowboarding. In this valley it will also be possible to carry out “alternative” winter experiences such as the aforementioned sledding and snowshoeing excursions, both of which are very popular and appreciated activities in Val di Non. For lovers of ice skating, you can take advantage of the enchanting surface of the Smeraldo lake or the Fondo ice rink.

The Val di Non ski area offers distinct locations for alpine skiing: at the Mendola Pass on Mount Roen, in the Campi da Golf area; at Ruffrè-Mendola on the Nock world; finally on the Predaia plateau, at Ciasazze. In each of these locations, snow is guaranteed through modern programming systems, and in Ruffrè it will be possible to practice alpine skiing even at night thanks to artificial lighting.

Particularly popular in Val di Non are the ski-mountaineering routes, especially in the Maddalene area, and Nordic skiing, which can be practiced above all at the Cross-country skiing center of the Regole di Malosco, in Sarnonico. The slopes of this last resort wind through woods and clearings for over 10 km of rings located at an average altitude of about 1350 meters, in the Predaia area.
Much loved by families are the Predaia Park and the Funny Park Nevelandia, places where you can learn to ski through fun in a dream atmosphere.

Furthermore, winter sports lovers cannot miss the characteristic Ciaspolada, the main event of the Nonesa Epiphany.
